What's In The Garden Pond?!
Tuesday January 7th
If you managed to collect some of the new Mystery Seeds, you're probably itching to know what they're for!
Well the wait is over and they can now be planted in any 'toadstool' pot (the same ones used for the Fairytales - any one will do!)

When planted, the new mystery seed will grow into an Underwater Toadstool, which will attract the beautiful Fairyland Mermaid to your Garden!
When she is spotted in your Garden, the Mermaid will sit upon your Toadstool, magically transporting your Garden to her underwater world at the bottom the Garden Pond!
Whenever your Garden is submerged in the Garden Pond (don't worry - all your plants can grow as normal while underwater!) you will be able to attract the new
Garden Pond Wildlife which are listed in a new section in the
Wildlife Guide.
The first 7 Garden Pond wildlife are nice & easy to attract - in fact you may recognize them as they're 7 of the regular Fairyland wildlife (ones which can swim underwater!)
And of course, there will be
lots more Garden Pond wildlife and challenges arriving over the coming months!
Questions & Answers
How do I get more Underwater Toadstool seeds?
If you didn't manage to get any from this year's Festive Trees, then you can get more by spotting the new Garden Pond Wildlife - every 10th will drop a seed (except for the Mermaid, who drops one the very first time you spot her - a nice easy one to get you started :)
What happens to my background effects?
If you have background effects saved in your garden, these will not show while your garden is underwater, but don't worry - they're still there and will return when your Underwater Toadstool becomes Ready For Harvest and your Garden is no longer underwater. (If you wish, you can refreeze your background effects as normal while your garden is underwater as the underwater effect is not saved. However if your effects do expire while your Garden is underwater, you can always get them back again with the new option to 'restore expired effects' :)
Does it matter which Toadstool pot I use?
No, not at all - you can use whichever Toadstool pot you like :)
Have fun!
